Psychotherapy in Rochester, NY
About Me
About Me
Hi! I am a therapist in private practice in Brighton, NY (Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege). I graduated from Syracuse University in 2011 with my Bachelor’s and from Gordon-Conwell in 2015 with my Master’s. I have worked at an eating disorder non-profit in Boston, MA; a public school in Boston, MA; Rochester Institute of Technology; and an eating disorder non-profit in Rochester, NY before beginning my own practice.
I primarily work with eating disorders, OCD, anxiety disorders, attachment traumas and more.
I am a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP)—a credential that recognizes advanced clinical expertise, education, and experience in the treatment of eating disorders. This certification reflects my deep commitment to providing informed, compassionate, and individualized care to those navigating recovery. I have led trainings (and greatly enjoy doing so!) on eating disorders to multiple groups of therapists, RDs and medical doctors. I also serve on the board for The Emilee Connection- an amazing eating disorder non-profit right here in Rochester.
I’m a major Swiftie, a coffee lover, and a bookworm.
Therapy Style
This is my cozy office! The space is brimming with fidgets, tea, a bean bag, snacks, plants, books, and space for you. I am an intregrative therapist and work to understand clients’ frame of reference and how they attach to others, through the lens of Coherence Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I have completed Level 1 training in Coherence Therapy through the Coherence Psychology Institute and participate in ongoing Coherence Therapy consultation. Coherence Therapy is a depth-oriented, neuroscience-informed approach that helps uncover and transform the emotional learnings that keep patterns like anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, depression, and relationship struggles feeling necessary—even when we consciously want things to change.
Here are some recent trainings I’ve done:
Parts Work for Memory Reconsolidation
Complex Trauma Course with Kina Wolfenstein (Coherence Therapy & Memory Reconsolidation)
Multi Service Eating Disorder Association conference, 2025
Schema Therapy for Addictions
Stable Enough: Understanding the Ethics & Treatment of Severe & Enduring Eating Disorders
